So I wanted to join in over at Moxie Fab to their "Gingham" Challenge. I am a country girl at heart you know, and gingham is definitely my style. So I pulled out my favorite new Jillibean Soup papers, Coconut Lime Soup and started playing. The challenge was to use gingham in an innovative way so this is the card I entered into the challenge:

I was also lucky enough to get to teach a Jillibean Soup Card Class in Lancaster, Ohio at the Grand Re-opening of Scrapbooks 2 Cherish this weekend. I really enjoyed it and got to meet some wonderful ladies there. One of the cards we did in class was by Summer Fullerton:
and I decided to do a few variations of that card, it is very versatile. Here are my interpretation of Summer's original:

I used a punched out scrap and made it into a banner piece and then layered a contrast color under it. |
