Rejoice Daily Altered Message Board

My altered message board was up on the Jillibean blog yesterday. It was part of our designer challenge this month, to use a quote. I found this message board at Goodwill for $1.00 and it looked like this:

So I added a layered flower focal point,

and chose a favorite bible verse, Psalm 118:4

Added some more Pea Pod and sticker layers with a couple doilies...
And Presto! a fabulous new message center for the Folchert House!
Materials List: Upcycled Message Board; Jillibean Soup/Grandma's Lima Bean Soup-Lean Ham, Dry Lima Bean, Dried Marjoram, Small Onion, Vegetable Bouillon, Leek Bulb, Bite Size Bits, Pea Pod/DieCuts & 12x12 Cardstock Stickers; Jillibean Soup/Cool Beans Buttons/Vintage, Diced Denim/Alphabeans; White doily, Want 2 Scrap/Pearls; Mod Podge

So what do you think, would love to hear what altered projects you are working on. Lots of Christmas gifts being created I'm sure! I will be back before Christmas with a couple cards. Happy Holidays and best wishes on all the Christmas preparations!

Projects Update

We have been so busy that I haven't had a chance to share my November Projects, here is my other Jillibean Soup Card:

A new article also posted over at the Scrapjazz.com website too, an article on Military Albums featuring pages for my brother-in-law who is proudly serving in the Air Force. Here are a few photos from that article which can be found here:

Ok well that is all for now, I will be back soon with some December projects. For Jillibean there will be two Christmas cards this month and special altered project with a favorite bible quote. Over at Scrapjazz the upcoming article includes a Jillibean Soup altered Birdhouse.
