Happy National Scrapbook Day! Thanks for stopping by!
I am very excited to share my most favorite Jillibean Soup project ever with you. It is actually one I get to enjoy every day because it now hanging in my living room. It was an altered, upcycled printers tray/drawer that I discovered at a local Goodwill store (best find ever!) .Anyhow it is my favorite project for many reasons, I love that it is vintage, I love that it has a rainbow of color and I love that it displays some of my favorite family photos in a unique way.

The project was created for a Designer challenge for the Jillibean Soup Design Team and the challenge was to see how many Jillibean papers you would use in one project. So that is how I came up with the idea of the hot air balloons, because
it was a sneaky way of getting 24 more papers onto the project :)This project used 78 papers from 23 different collections, a wonderful example of how Jillibean collections interchange effortlessly. The color family groupings were not part of the original plan either, it just happened when I was laying it all out (lots of measuring...). Don't tell anyone that some of my most creative inspirations were actually happy accidents ;)
